Finishing touches on Brody's room!!!

Well Brody's room is finally finished!! Now we are anxiously awaiting his arrival. I go to the Dr. on Tuesday and I am praying that I have progressed some! I love feeling him move inside me, but it is time to come out!!!

Today we got a package from Cory's brother and sister in law. Kylie made Brody a scrapbook for the first year of his life! It is the cutest thing I have seen! I kind of teared up looking through it. I am so ready for him to come and it was so sweet for her to take the time and make this for him. We have not met yet but we are going to Michigan for Christmas. I am excited to meet everyone finally!

Aunt Tara made this adorable door hanging to take to the hospital for Brody!!! It means a lot to me because we are so far away from family and usually someone will get one to take to the hospital. I was not even thinking about one so I am so happy that my sister made one for Brody!! Now I just need to remember to take it to the hospital with us when the time comes!!

Dr. Update...I went to the dr. yesterday and my blood pressure is still high (140/90) but not as high as it was last Thursday (145/100). There is also still a trace of protein in my urine but not as much as there was Thursday. All my lab work came back normal and the Group B Strep test was negative. I am still 1 cm dilated and my cervix is 50% effaced. She told me that she will keep me pregnant for one more week. I go back Monday and if my blood pressure is still high and there is still protein in my urine then we will talk about inducing me!

Dr. Appt. at 36 Weeks

Well first the good news, Brody is head down. I am 1 cm dilated but my cervix in still very thick. Now for the bad news...I found out the I have a large amount of protein in my urine and my blood pressure was high...145/100. She is very concerned that I might have pre-eclampsia so I was ordered to get blood work done asap. My dr. also said that I am non-inducable bc of how thick and long my cervix is. I go back Monday to check my blood pressure and get the results of my blood work. I am hoping my blood pressure goes done and the tests are negative!! Or we might be meeting Brody sooner than we thought.

Dr. Appt. at 34 weeks and 1 day

Today I went in for my 34 weeks appt. Everything looks great! I just love when the dr. says, "Oh you are BIG!" Brody is breech as of now. My last appointment he was head down and you could feel his head but now she had a hard time feeling him. She finally felt his head and it was in my chest!! I have been having a really hard time breathing lately and she said that could be why. His heartbeat is 140 so that is good. I go back October 15th and will have the Group B Strep test and then I should be going every week. Let's hope that Brody will rotate and go back head down!!! I do not want a C-section so hopefully he will decide to go back down!!!!

Brody's Bassinet

This is Brody's bassinet set up in our room! He got it from his Aunt Terry and her family and Aunt Angie and the rest of the Moore family! We love it and cannot wait until Brody will be sleeping all night in it...haha I wish!!!

Dr. Appt at 31 weeks and 5 days

I went to the Dr. this past Tuesday and it took longer than it should of! My Dr. just moved to her own practice and everything is chaotic! New location and she still does not have my records so everything was written down on sticky notes!! New people also so I was asked all the same questions over again! This is about the 3rd time this pregnancy that I have had to do new patient information. It is getting real old! Anyways I finally got called back and the MA asked me questions, took my blood pressure and listened to the babies heartbeat. I love that part! She then left and said Dr. F will be there soon. I was the only person in the office at this point! 35 mins. later my Dr. walks in to check me. Yes, I was very annoyed and right before I was leaving the room to ask someone if she was coming, she walks in...lucky for her!! She said she was trying to get her office in order and lost track of time! I am not very fond of her but this is my 3rd dr. with this pregnancy and no one is accepting new patients...which is crazy! So I am just bitting my tongue with her. Two weeks ago I was measuring 3 weeks ahead and she was a little worried about how big the baby might be, so she was going to order me an ultrasound this week. However, Tuesday I am measuring right on schedule at 32. Who knows! My blood pressure was excellent and everything else is great!! It was a hectic appt. with no records and sticky notes everywhere!! Hopefully by my next appt, in 2 weeks, things will be better.
