Brody is 6 months old today! We went to the doctor and Brody is perfectly healthy! I cannot believe that he is half a year old today! Man how time flies! Pretty soon I will be planning his 1st birthday party (probably with the help of Aunt Tara.)
6 month stats:
* weighs a little over 17 lbs.
* height is 26 1/2 inches.
* eats 7 to 8 ozs. every 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
* eats cereal in the morning and a fruit or vegetable for dinner.
* loves every food that we have put in his mouth!
* wears size 3 diapers.
* wears 6 to 9 month, 9 to 12 month clothing depending on where the clothes are from! ( the outfit below is from Gymboree and it is 6 to 12 months)
* takes about 3 to 4 naps a day and sleeps all night (goes to bed around 8:30 or 9:00 until 7:30 or 8:00 a.m.)
* rolls around everywhere both ways.
* babbles a lot!
* Brody does this grunting thing all the time!
* tries to sit up when someone is holding him and he is laying down (looks like he is working out his abs)
* no teeth yet but I think they will be cutting soon! He is the drooling king and chews on everything in sight!
* still loves his jumper
* reaches for everything he sees.
* recognizes me and Cory and his bottle ( man will he pitch a fit if he sees you making his bottle.)
* pulls hair...yea for me!
* always laughing and smiling...such a happy baby!
We love you Brody and it has been amazing watching you grow into such a big boy!

Yes, Cory "won" Brody a fish at the fair. Here is the story: We went to the fair on Sunday and Cory played all the games. He kept going back to one game where you throw ping pong balls in little vases with fishes in them. Finally, on our way out to go home, he wanted to play again and decided to pay $5 for a bucket in which every one is a winner! Meaning, even if you don't make a ball into one of the vases, you still WIN a fish! So needless to say, Cory didn't make any balls in but he still got a fish! And if you ask Cory the story, he will say I won a fish! But Brody likes to watch him swim around so I guess it's ok. Charles is growing on me!
