Just Say NO...

Brody is officially off the paci! He has been for a week and does not cry for it. I don't think he ever did! The only time he cried was at bedtime but I think it was because his teeth were hurting him. He has 4 teeth coming in on top (2 are out and the other two are popping through the gums). Last night he did not cry at all! We laid him in bed and 5 minutes later he was out. He is such a big boy and that is one less thing we have to worry about now!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a nice, long, and relaxing Labor Day weekend. Saturday we spent most of the day watching college football. My Longhorns won and Cory's Michigan Wolverines won also! I have to say Michigan does look good this year! On Sunday we headed to Tucson and went to the zoo. Brody loves the zoo and just loves being outside! Cory and I both enjoy the zoo also! Then we went to the mall, where Brody of course got some new clothes! He got more winter clothes because he does not have that much winter stuff. To finish off the day, we went to one of our favorite restaurants....PF Changs!

Texas Football is here!

I love this time of year...College Football!!! Texas played Rice today in their season opener! They looked good but hopefully we can improve on a lot so we can make it back to the National Championship!

10 months!

Our Brody is 10 months old today! Man I cannot believe how fast time is going. I am already planning his party (actually I have been for awhile now). He does something different every day and I am so thankful that I get to stay at home with him so I never miss a thing! Now that he is mobile, he definitely gets into everything! He likes to play with the door stops and loves to close doors! He has locked himself in his room once. He shut the door and then would not move away from it so we could not get in for about 5 minutes! He keeps is busy but we would not have it any other way!

Lake Fun

Last weekend we went out on Lake Patagonia with a couple of the moms in my group. We had a lot of fun! It was Brody's first time to go to the lake and on a boat! He absolutely loved it!
