So while Cory's mom Donna was here, we got into a car accident:( We were in Tucson (about 2 minutes from the zoo) when BAM! Here is the story:
We were in the middle lane and we needed to be in the right lane so Cory put his blinker on and got over with plenty of room. We came to a complete stop because there was a long line at the light where we needed to turn into the zoo. A couple seconds after Cory stopped, we were rammed from the back. It was a pretty good ram! She was probably going 30-40 mph! Everyone was ok, however, Donna hit her head on the rear window and I was leaning forward picking something up from the floor board when we got hit. I went forward and then back fast and pretty hard. My neck hurt for about a week after. I am just so thankful everyone was ok including the 82 year old driver of the car. As you can see from the photos, her car was totaled and ours had very little damage. She had pretty bad bruises on her forearms from the airbag but thankfully that was it.
Our truck went into the shop on the 18th and we got it next Tuesday the 26th! It looks like it did nothing to our truck but the estimate to fix it is a little over $1800! The bumper was bent down and the messed up the muffler.
