We went to San Diego, CA for Memorial weekend. It was a last minute trip (we have been talking about it but didn't make reservations until a week before we went). This was our first family vacation besides going to Texas and Michigan for Christmas! The drive was about 7 1/2 to 8 hours but it took us a little longer on the way there. We took our time and stopped off at this view tower that was about 1 hour away from San Diego.
