Brody's Bassinet

This is Brody's bassinet set up in our room! He got it from his Aunt Terry and her family and Aunt Angie and the rest of the Moore family! We love it and cannot wait until Brody will be sleeping all night in it...haha I wish!!!

Dr. Appt at 31 weeks and 5 days

I went to the Dr. this past Tuesday and it took longer than it should of! My Dr. just moved to her own practice and everything is chaotic! New location and she still does not have my records so everything was written down on sticky notes!! New people also so I was asked all the same questions over again! This is about the 3rd time this pregnancy that I have had to do new patient information. It is getting real old! Anyways I finally got called back and the MA asked me questions, took my blood pressure and listened to the babies heartbeat. I love that part! She then left and said Dr. F will be there soon. I was the only person in the office at this point! 35 mins. later my Dr. walks in to check me. Yes, I was very annoyed and right before I was leaving the room to ask someone if she was coming, she walks in...lucky for her!! She said she was trying to get her office in order and lost track of time! I am not very fond of her but this is my 3rd dr. with this pregnancy and no one is accepting new patients...which is crazy! So I am just bitting my tongue with her. Two weeks ago I was measuring 3 weeks ahead and she was a little worried about how big the baby might be, so she was going to order me an ultrasound this week. However, Tuesday I am measuring right on schedule at 32. Who knows! My blood pressure was excellent and everything else is great!! It was a hectic appt. with no records and sticky notes everywhere!! Hopefully by my next appt, in 2 weeks, things will be better.

Brody's room...so far!!!!

Well Brody's room is almost ready for him! I still need to get another pack of the wall decals to put around the wall and we need to hang the shelf with his name letters. We will either hang it over the crib or dresser. We have everything set out and ready to go! We are just so anxious for him to get here.

Love Labor Day sales!!!

This past Labor Day weekend, Cory and I were in Tucson looking for great deals on a dresser for Brody. We found a dresser (pics of his room will be coming soon) and we found an entertainment center for a price to great to pass up!!! Got to love Labor Day sales and Sam Levitz for having awesome deals!!!!

Thanks Grammie!!!!

This is Brody's adorable stroller and carseat that Grammie bought for him!! Cory put it together the day we got it and we practiced how to open it and close it!! We still have 10 more weeks or less but we are so excited to get everything ready to go!!! Thanks Grammie!!!

Dr. Appt. at 29 weeks 5 days

I went to the dr. on Tuesday and everything looks really good! My blood pressure was excellent and the baby looks great! However, the dr. is measuring me at 33 weeks! That is 3 weeks ahead!! She is ordering me another ultrasound to measure the fetal growth. Either Brody is going to be a big boy or I am further along than we thought!! It will be determined in 2 weeks when I go back to the dr.! Here is our sweet Brody at 29 weeks and 3 days. While I was in Waco, my uncle Mark, an OB in Waco, had his ultrasound tech perform a 3d/4d ultrasound on me. It was so amazing to see how much he is growing which apparently is a lot!!! My family all came and they were able to see him! More pics are soon to come of him during that ultrasound!

Brody's Baby Shower

Brody's baby shower was more than I pictured!! My family did such an amazing job decorating and making this such a special day for Brody and I!! He got extrememly spoiled with all the gifts we received. My sister decorated the house and it looked amazing!! Everything went perfectly and I am very grateful to have such a wonderful family and friends!!

Thank you everyone that attended. We grealty appreciate it!! I am so thankful to my family...my sister for ordering all the decorations and making it look so adorable, my Aunt Terry for making my diaper cake and cake, my Aunt Angie for letting us use her house and getting all the food!!! To my mom, nana, and Robin thank you for preparing the food and everything else yall did! It was def. a family effort to pull this baby shower off on such short notice!!!
